Meditation Practice

Relief from stress, high blood pressure, anxiety and depression are among the many benefits that have been scientifically documented. However, from a Buddhist perspective, meditation is a vehicle for making progress on the spiritual path to enlightenment.

There are many different kinds of meditation practice and innumerable techniques. Guidance is recommended. Bodhimarga students receive specific meditation instruction from their teacher suited to their individual needs. Meditation interviews are scheduled periodically to ensure that students avoid pitfalls and make progress in their meditation practice.

Students are encouraged to develop a regular and consistent meditation practice. Meditation is considered to be an essential vehicle for following the Eightfold Path taught by the Buddha.
