Relying on a Spiritual Friend 

 A one-day retreat with the Venerable Tenzin Priyadarshi

This retreat is based on The Fifty Verses of Guru Devotion [Skt: Gurupancashikha; Tib: Lama Nga-chu-pa] was written around the first century by Ashvagosha. This Indian poet was known by many names—such as Aryashura and Matriceta. It’s a beautiful text which discusses insights on how to relate to one’s teacher as well as to understand the path of guru devotion.
Bodhimarga one-day retreats include teachings, prayers, meditation, tea/snack breaks and time for discussion. Chairs and a few cushions for floor seating are available. Feel free to bring your own cushions, too.  There are many restaurants nearby for lunch.

 

The venue for our retreat is in the Community Classroom of the Eagle County Paramedic Services Building at 1055 Edwards Village Blvd in Edwards. Doors open for registration at 9:00am on Saturday, March 2nd, with prayers and teaching beginning at 10:00am (arrive early please).  All are welcome and we hope you will join us!

On-line February 10th – March 2nd and Walk-In registration – suggested donation $85.  

Walk in registration by check and cash will be available starting at 9:00 am the day of the retreat until the venue reaches capacity.

Dharma is priceless!  No one is turned away from a teaching due to financial hardship.  Please email scholarship@bodhimarga.org to request a scholarship prior to Friday, February 22.
