Meditations on Patience and Joyful Effort

A one-day retreat with the Venerable Tenzin Priyadarshi

Date to be rescheduled
Buena Vista, Colorado

Patience and Joyful Effort are two of the Six Perfections or Paramitas (meaning “to transcend”), which are at the heart of the actions of a bodhisattva, someone who truly works for the well being of others.

Venerable Tenzin will explain the methods used to engage in these day to day practices, which help one overcome mental afflictions, transcend all concepts and see the true nature of things. Through a clear understanding of these practices, we can develop confidence in our purpose and maintain a diligent and happy mind on the path to enlightenment.

Bodhimarga one-day retreats generally consist of teachings, prayers, meditation, tea/lunch breaks and time for Q & A. Chairs (and a few cushions for floor seating) are available, but feel free to bring your own cushions, too.  Contact our local retreat coordinators, Jenny Davis jenny@vivitech.com 719-395-4006 or Michael DiLillo 888-550-1777 for more information.

The venue for our retreat is the Community Center @ 715 E. Main Street in Buena Vista, CO. Doors open for registration at 9:00am on Saturday, October 7, with prayers and teaching beginning at 10:00am.  We hope you will join us!
